RULES AND POLICIES OF THE WEEKLY BOOK FOR BPOE #1094

Effective August 17, 2026

1. Only bona fide members in good standing of the BPOE 1094 can sign
the weekly book.
2. The book is a 100% payout dependent on the number of numbers
pulled for the week, and spaces filled. There is a guaranteed winner
each week. There is no rollover to the following week.
3. The winner is required to be posted for the following seven (7) days
in a prominent place in the Club.
4. The Weekly Book will run from Monday to Sunday. The drawing will
be conducted on Sunday evenings before closing. There must be
three bona fide members present as witnesses to draw the book. If
there are not three witnesses, the drawing will be conducted at the
opening of business the following day. The three members will be
required to sign the weekly book sheet as witness to the drawing.
5. The cost for the weekly book is $1.00, cash only. Members can sign
the weekly book twice per day ($1.00 for each number, two numbers
in a day for a total of $2.00), every day of each week.
6. The numbers used for the weekly book are NOT the members’
membership numbers.
7. Members will draw numbers from a clear fishbowl containing balls
numbered from 1 to 500. Once a member pulls a ball from the
available numbered balls in the clear fishbowl, the member will write
their name in the space of the corresponding number on the weekly
book sheet. The ball will then be placed in a separate-colored
fishbowl and that number will be out of play for the remainder of
that week.
8. A member cannot sign for another member, and members must be
present to sign. Members must sign the book with their name as it
appears on their membership card. Nicknames are not permitted
and the name must be legible.

9. Members can only sign the weekly book during regular business
hours. Should the Club close early or be closed due to inclement
weather or an emergency, the book will not be drawn that day, but
will be drawn on the next day the Club is open.
10. The winner and amount will be entered into Small Games of
Chance record keeping with the State.
11. The winner must verify the funds received in full and sign as
received correctly.
12. The winner may request payment via check in advance of
payment. Payment by check may take 1 to 2 weeks from date of
request.
Special Notes:
1. The Board of Trustees may determine when the Weekly Book will
not be conducted on certain calendar weeks of each year, or
during certain Lodge events and can do so without advanced
notice.
2. Members are responsible for signing their own name for the
book. If a member paid for the book, but did not sign, and their
name is drawn, they will not be paid. Their name must be in the
numbered space on the Weekly Book.
3. If a member did not print their name legibly or if they sign the
book with a different name than what is on their membership
card, their identity cannot be determined, and the member will
not be paid.

RULES AND POLICIES OF THE DAILY BOOK FOR BPOE #1094

Effective August 1, 2026

Effective April 2, 2024, your Daily Book Number will NO longer be the same as your
Membership Number.
A Daily Book Number List will be created. Names of all Members in good standing will be
added to this list. The list will be sorted alphabetically by last name, beginning with A at
the top of the list and Z at the bottom. Book Numbers will be assigned top to bottom
beginning with number 001.
Any member not in good standing after April 1 of any Lodge year will be dropped from
the Daily Book Number List. Upon payment of their dues, the member will encounter a
10-day waiting period before their name is added to the list once again. Current members
and new members paying their membership dues after April 1 of each year will be added
to the bottom of the Member list for the remainder of the year.
Shaker Bottle Requirements:
1. The Shaker Bottles are numbered 1 to 4 to indicate the placement of their number in
the complete book number (current membership is below 1,000 members). The 4th
bottle will only be utilized when the number of members reaches four digits (1,000+
members).
2. Shaker Bottle Number Balls:
Shaker Bottle #1 – Will contain numbers 0 to 7 (when Book numbers begin to start
with 8 or 9, those numbers will be added to the shaker bottle as appropriate).
Shaker Bottles #2 through #4 – Will contain numbers 0 to 9.

Daily Book

1. The Daily Book is $1.00, cash only, due upon signing. A member can only sign one
time per day. The Club and staff are not responsible if a member signs more than
once. Monies will not refunded.
2. The book will be drawn at the end of the business day when there are at least three
(3) bona fide (as in good standing) members present. The bartenders will give one
shaker bottle each to the three members. Each member will shake the bottle and
pull out one ball with a single number on it. They will show the bartender the ball

pulled and return the ball to the shaker when instructed by the bartender. These
three members will serve as witnesses on the book log. If there are not enough
bona fide members present, the drawing will revert to the opening of the next
business day.
3. The bartender will record the complete number drawn and check the membership
log to determine if it is a valid Lodge book number. If the member owning the
number recently became deceased or the book number is not valid for any reason,
the patrons will draw again until a valid number is generated.
4. If the name drawn did not sign that day, there is no winner.
5. When the total value of the book reaches $3,000, the book is “capped” and any
overage will start a second book.
6. Only one name will be drawn daily for the book. If there is no winner, the first book
will remain capped at $3000, and the second book will continue to grow.
7. Winnings over $1,999 are required to be reported to the State and Federal
government each year and any member winning $2,000 or more will be required to
complete a W2 game form prior to collecting their winnings.
8. Winners of $2,000 or more will receive a W-2G via email after January 1 of the
following year to submit with their annual taxes.
9. The winner must verify funds received in full, and sign the daily sheet as received
correctly.
10. The winner may request payment via check in advance of payment. Payment by
check may take 1 to 2 weeks from date of request.
Special Notes:
1. The Board of Trustees may determine when the Weekly Book will not be conducted
on certain calendar weeks of each year, or during certain Lodge events and can do so
without advanced notice.
2. Members are responsible for signing their own name for the book. If a member paid
for the book, but did not sign, and their name is drawn, they will not be paid. Their
name must be in the numbered space on the Weekly Book.
3. If a member did not print their name legibly or if they sign the book with a different
name than what is on their membership card, their identity cannot be determined,
and the member will not be paid.
